1. Flat Rate Shipping — $450
Tuarus Container Service offers a simple, transparent $450 flat rate shipping fee for all standard container deliveries within the contiguous United States. This flat rate applies to:
- 20ft Standard Containers — Same flat rate, no additional mileage fees
- 40ft Standard Containers — Same flat rate as 20ft containers
- 40ft High Cube Containers — Same flat rate, no upcharge for extra height
- Any delivery distance within the contiguous 48 states — from New York to California, Florida to Washington
- Professional placement — Our driver will place the container within 50 feet of the truck

⚠️ When Additional Fees Apply
The $450 flat rate covers standard deliveries to accessible locations. Additional fees may apply for: remote/rural areas beyond 50 miles from a major highway (+$150-$250), residential deliveries with HOA coordination (+$100), crane or lift-gate for challenging sites (+$200-$400), Alaska/Hawaii deliveries (custom quote required), or failed delivery attempts due to unprepared site (+$250-$500). All additional fees will be disclosed before you complete your purchase.
2. Delivery Timeline: 5-7 Days Maximum
Once your payment has fully cleared our accounts, your order enters our fulfillment queue. We guarantee delivery within 5-7 business days to any location in the contiguous United States. Alaska and Hawaii deliveries may take 10-14 business days (custom quote required).

Under Connecticut General Statutes § 42a-2-309 (Shipment & Delivery), the 5-7 day delivery commitment begins AFTER payment has fully cleared our accounts. Credit card payments typically clear within 1-2 business days. Bank transfers may take 3-5 business days to clear. We cannot dispatch containers until funds are confirmed in our accounts.

We partner with specialized flatbed and tilt-bed carriers to ensure safe, damage-free delivery of your shipping container. The $450 flat rate covers standard flatbed delivery.

Tilt-Bed Delivery (+$150)
Ideal for residential or tight-access sites. Bed tilts to slide container to ground level.
No crane or forklift needed
Crane / Lift-Gate (+$200-$400)
For challenging sites or multi-container stacking. Additional fees may apply.

4. Delivery Area — All 50 States
Tuarus Container Service delivers to every state in the United States. The $450 flat rate applies to the contiguous 48 states. Below are estimated transit times from our regional distribution centers:
Connecticut Customers: As our home state, deliveries within Connecticut are prioritized and typically arrive within 2-3 business days from payment clearance. The $450 flat rate still applies — no additional local fees.
5. Delivery Site Requirements
To ensure safe and successful delivery, please prepare your site according to these requirements. Failure to meet these conditions may result in delivery delays or additional fees (see failed delivery policy below).
📋 Site Preparation Checklist
- Access Width: Minimum 14 feet of clear width for delivery truck
- Height Clearance: Minimum 16 feet (power lines, tree branches, low bridges)
- Ground Surface: Level, firm, dry surface (gravel, concrete, or compacted soil)
- Turning Radius: Delivery truck requires approximately 45-50 feet turning radius
- Ground Preparation: We recommend concrete blocks, railroad ties, or compacted gravel base for long-term placement
- Permits: Customer is responsible for any local permits required for container placement
⚠️ Failed Delivery Attempts
If our driver arrives and the site is inaccessible or unprepared, a failed delivery fee of $250-$500 will apply (depending on distance). A second delivery attempt will be scheduled at your expense. Under Connecticut consumer protection laws, we will provide written notice of any access issues before assessing fees.
6. Order Tracking & Notifications
We keep you informed at every stage of your container's journey:
- Order Confirmation: Immediate email after payment clearance
- Dispatch Notification: Email with carrier details and estimated delivery window
- GPS Tracking Link: Real-time location updates sent via SMS or email (opt-in required)
- 24-Hour Delivery Notice: Call or text from driver one day before arrival
- Proof of Delivery: Signed delivery receipt and photos upon completion
7. Delivery Inspection & Damage Claims
Inspect Before Signing: Upon delivery, inspect your container thoroughly before signing the Bill of Lading (BOL) or delivery receipt. Note any damage, dents, or issues directly on the paperwork.
Concealed Damage: If you discover damage after delivery (not visible at time of drop-off), notify us within 48 hours with photos. We will file a claim with the carrier on your behalf.
⚠️ Connecticut Consumer Protection Notice
Under Connecticut General Statutes § 42a-2-513 (Acceptance of Goods), your signature on the delivery receipt without notation of damage constitutes acceptance of the container in its delivered condition. Always inspect before signing. Refusal to accept a damaged container is your right — contact us immediately at info@tuaruscontainerservice.com.
8. Residential vs. Commercial Delivery
Commercial Delivery: Standard delivery to businesses, warehouses, farms, and industrial sites with adequate loading dock or yard space. Included in $450 flat rate.
Residential Delivery: Additional coordination required for neighborhood streets, HOAs, and tight driveways. Please notify us at checkout if your delivery address is residential. A $100 residential delivery fee may apply due to specialized equipment and extended driver time. This fee will be disclosed before finalizing your order.
9. International Shipping (Canada & Mexico)
We ship containers to Canada and Mexico on a case-by-case basis. The $450 flat rate does NOT apply to international shipments. Delivery times range from 10-21 days depending on customs clearance and distance. Customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and brokerage fees. Please contact us directly for an international shipping quote.
10. Delays & Force Majeure
While we maintain a 99.9% on-time delivery rate, certain circumstances beyond our control may cause delays:
- Severe weather conditions (hurricanes, blizzards, floods)
- Road closures or infrastructure issues
- Carrier strikes or labor disputes
- Government-imposed travel restrictions
- Natural disasters or acts of God
In the event of a delay, we will notify you immediately with an updated estimated delivery date. You are entitled to cancel your order for a full refund if the delay exceeds 14 business days beyond the original 7-day commitment, as provided under Connecticut General Statutes § 42a-2-309.
